Well my dad (71) has never killed anything bigger than a sparrow prior to our hog hunt this weekend. He took this boar with a 300 blackout @ 150 yds with a 110 gr VMAX. Just goes to show its never to late to start hunting. 
And I will strike down upon thee with vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you....
