I've competed with both AnglePort'ed guns and Briley ported guns and they are all well done. You can't go wrong with either.

Briley..and most anyone who installs screw in chokes..and Briley is in Houston and staffed w/very competent people including several world class shotgun shooters..DD

It's not for recoil, it's to reduce muzzle jump and give you quicker recovery for that second shot.

I have a browning sporting clays 525, it comes ported from the factory. I can't tell a difference between it or any other of my shotguns in recoil,or muzzle jump. I think the shotguns don't have enough pressure to really work being ported like a rifle.

Honestly, I can't either. I do notice they are louder
