Well I thawed out a few deer steaks for dinner to find that I was out of propane and I didn't feel like running into town. The steaks I get back from the processor are already tenderized so a quick trip through the slicer and they just fell apart. I put the meat into a hot skillet with onions, bell peppers, and a bit of garlic, salt and pepper, topped with some provolone and jalapenos and threw it in a hoagie roll. I was pleasantly surprised with how well they turned out. Glad I ran out of propane, this one definitely found its way into the rotation for a quick meal.
