I'll find out this weekend when I go shoot it I guess. I spent the weekend making an integral .410 shotgun after my form 1 came back Friday. There have been other suppressed shotguns but they really all use heavy ported barrels and do not have baffels past the barrel - that's where I wanted to try something different. I have 5" of baffles past the muzzle designed to keep the wad from opening. I used modified 'M' baffles with a 4 degree tappered bore. I'll see how well it works this coming weekend. I'm still waiting on paperwork for a 20ga shotgun suppressor.

I just use a bolt action .410 as the donor gun and kept the suppressor diameter much smaller than typical to aid in the overall look.

Mad skilz !

I hope it works. I've been intrigued by suppressed shotguns since "No Country for Old Men". I've wondered how you don't get baffle strike with BBs. I suppose the shot doesn't start to open until well after the muzzle?

The tapered bore of the baffles should act like a choke and keep the wad shut. The only issue on a .410 is how thin the wads are

Nice. Is it taking long for ATF to process forms?

"What do you do?" I work for an airline. "Wow are you a pilot" No I'm an aircraft inspector, they said I was too talented to sit and flip switches all day.

I have a second un-modified bolt action 410 so I'll try to get a short video with both in it this weekend
