In reading some of the posts a few of you have mentioned what you pay for your lease. I d be curious to find out what everyone is paying.

If you wouldn't mind please post:
1. where your lease is.
2. how many acres
3. how many hunters total
4. how much you pay per gun. or per acre

I lost my lease in Mills county a few years ago and we had a sweet deal 450 acres. 3 people a total of $2000. Thats a little more that $4/acre. It seems like now if you find anything for $10/acre you are doing very well.

So far looks like everyone is paying less than $10 per acre. I'm surprised.

$0!!! I was fortunate enough to marry into a family that had some land out in the SE panhandle. Just bought 25% of it a couple months ago.
But, I do have 3 other buddies that hunt on there with me. Its about 350 acres and they each pay $400/yr.

Hondo - 1600 acres
$1400 per gun

Year round access (which is nice)
This lease has a house that sleeps 8 comfortably, electricity, AC/heat, running water, and full shower/toilet ammenities.

I love this place. Even in the off-season we have a blast out here.

$650 a gun with 12 guns on 2300 acres in Nacogdoches county. What is that about $3.40 acre. Our 5 spots encompass almost half of 2300 acres.

I must say again that I am pleasantly surprised. The prices ya'll are paying seem very reasonable. The majority are less than $10 er acre. I just need to keep looking I guess.

2 places: Comanche Co 200 acres $2000.00. Year round use. There are 2 of us but we are allowed to have guests. Has water and electric.
Tom Green Co Not sure total acres but 3000 to 5000 I think. 12 -14 guns $1850 gun almost year round use. No spring turkey because the sheep are droppin' babies. Has a cabin that sleeps 10 with wood stove for heat next to the dart board and a porch over looking the horse shoe pit.
