I like to shoot heavier bullets in the .223, 69-77 grain. I know some of the Remingtons come in 1in9 twist. Does anyone offer a 1in8 or 1in7" twist? CZ, Remington, Savage, etc? Thanks in advance.

Randy

The Tikka would be my choice if you absolutely wanted a faster twist than 1:9

Check out local pawn shops in your area. You will find a range of guns out there.

I'm a little late to the party but I have that exact rifle and love it. But for some reason it does better with 55gr bullets at shorter distances and 69gr at longer with 200yds kind of being the distinguishing distance. the 75gr stuff doesn't work too well for us. That being said, it still will shoot about 2.5" @ 200yds.

I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

Tikka is a good choice.

Really like hunting with and shooting my CZ 527 though, the weight and size are very nice as is the Single set trigger. one of these days it might get a faster twist barrel
