My title is a riff on a famous quote from our current first woman.

When people find out I grew up in NY, they assume NY City.
Geographically and culturally, that could not be further from the truth.
Upstate NY is rural and beautiful.
And the people there are not afraid of much.
And the brutal winters make you feel like you can endure anything.

Watch this video and see what resistance is. I have no doubt that Texans, if under the same circumstances, would have the same reaction:

Whoa, thought I stumbled onto a Michelle Obama quote there for second...

Good for the people of Buffalo. Make sure that the cops are cited for being in violation of Cuomo's law that was pushed through without debate. I'll bet for a minute that everyone of their magazines holds 15 rounds.

Don't turn in, don't register. They did it in Germany before they started rounding up citizens. Same thing in China.

Korea is nothing like Germany, and no amount of Army Modernization propaganda will convince me otherwise. I miss my wife and kids something fierce

I firmly believe that when you hear negative comments about NY you are really hearing disgust with those persons (primarily politicians) who have a "ram it down your throat" attitude towards lots of issues. Sounds like the "average tax paying, law abiding guy" has just about had enough.

Can't blame them either........
