because its the most popular caliber owned in america, and when the ammo scare started, everybody that has one went and bought ammo. thats basically it.

There are about 800 lots of 22lr for sale on gunbroker and its bringing 10 cents and up per round. profiteering is in full swing.

Saw the Remington Bucket o Bullets today at Academy in Plano and saw Federal 22 in an ammo can at Cabelas- it is showing up more and more


If they come to take mine- they better have theirs.

I understand everyone bought it cause their stupid and panicked. But why is it out of stock with no back order. Its like no one is producing it.

I had my ammo supply because I prepared ahead of time (Boy Scout motto). Once things get caught up buy some every time you go to the store and put it away. Eventually you will have an ample supply and not have to worry about such foolishness and the laws of supply and demand. 22 ammo is normally cheap and should fit in the budget. My 2 cents worth.

luckily i had plenty, but I am starting to see if more and more, its expensive so I'm not buying any more yet.

B&W Pawn in Mt. Pleasant got in more that Brandon(owner) could pull thru the door on a buggy this morning about 11am. Brandon is a fair size guy but had to have help. Probably 100,000 rds or more.
