Not sure how to find property or how to go about finding a place to hunt fox, yotes, or bobcats on.

3 ways really...Own the property, have good friends, or pay out the wazoo for a lot of property to lease

knock on doors, and ask

Find ranchers with cattle or sheep/goats with coyote issues. Ask nicely.

Furrdown and passthru...X2! drive around the country knocking on doors,(don't go camo'ed out)ask if they have problems with coyotes, tell them how you have been thinning them out around other areas and having to let those areas cool down alittle so they don't get call smart, I tell them that I almost always hunt alone and in the daytime(alot of folks have a hangup about night hunting, concerned about neighbors and livestock) I am sure to express how respectful I am of their property(don't drive in when it is muddy,keep gates shut,no trash etc.) and will call if needed each time I am coming...bottom line is you are "auditioning" for the job, most everybody wants predators gone, but alot of Landowners are apprehensive to let "just anybody" go on their land, once you get one person granting permission it helps that you can drop their name to their neighbor and so on...

It's all about who you know nowadays

You are right. Its easier said than done when getting new properties to hunt or trap. Landowners just dont want strangers with guns on their properties in fear of liability issues. Then you have all the pricks who get the privelege to hunt or trap then then start doing dumb sh$t and ruin it for everybody else.
