Ok I thought I had seen everything until I was in North Dallas yesterday morning and had 16 turkeys both hens & toms walk past me in a neiborhood just NE of Walnut Hill & Midway road! WTF? I thought I had lost my mind! When I started asking the neibors all they said was "we have no idea how they got here? They just showed up about 2 years ago" one guy told me that he has seen as many as 26 birds at one time! A couple of those toms had 10" beards on them!

That's crazy, but a great place for them to be. Except for autos, they should be pretty safe.

There are Turkeys inside Frisco too. I will not give the address, so don't even ask.

I would hope that a guy with the screen name of "Texas Turkey Hunter DFW" would know the difference between the two species.

Agree with you and never heard of a Guinea with a 10 inch beard.

When I lived in Folsom CA, we had them in the appt complex. About 6 toms and a bunch of hens. It was always fun to call to them and get the Toms gobbling right in the middle of the city.

There were Turkeys stocked near there a few years ago. Not giving out any details, but it's a fact.

Oh no! Invasion of the Wild Guineas, watch out hogs, they will take over your range and there is no season on them.

2 years ago I saw a red fox about 100 yards off 35 in the middle of Lewisville towards the lake. Middle if the night and it was hanging out by a 7-11 eating a ditched hot dog or something.
