I'm trying to decide which .22LR pistol I want to get for tactical practice work and can't make up my mind. What do you guys think? Walther? Ruger SR22?? Sig Mosquito?
Help me out here.

I've heard nothing but bad about the sig and walther shooting anything besides minimags. Don't know about the ruger.

Never had a problem with the Walter P22 ... good little weapon.
Is it as accurate as my Ruger MKII? Nope. but it is extremely concealable.
KelTec's PMR-30 is also some good medicine and you can also pick up a TCM-22 from Rock Island (5inch bbl - 2100 fps)

Walther P22... I have experience with both ends. My buddy's rarely works properly. My woman's works flawlessly, or at least as good as most 22 autos.
Sig Mosquito... I had one but wasn't exactly what I wanted. It was a very good and accurate pistol, but it was a little picky in terms of the ammo it would like to cycle. Mine defintiely did not like subsonic and seeing how my Mosquito was suppose to be the host to my can, that was a big negative for me.
I currently own a Ruger 22/45 Lite and LOVE it. It was the perfect thing for my., Cycles more different type fo ammo than the Sig or Walther in my house. Plus that model comes with raised sights and a removable scope base. And as a personal preference, it's grip style and angle is just like a 1911. Which I found out that's what the 45 in 22/45 is suppose to stand for. Negatives: Trigger isn't as nice as the other two, magazine is a little harder to load, and it SOOOO much more difficult to field strip.
Of the 3 that I've shot alot, my vote is the Ruger 22/45.
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

I had a Sig Mosquito before and the only ammo it would cycle was Winchester Super X loads and that was only about 7/10 times a mag. Wasn't happy with it at all.

What is your primary weapon? Glock or 1911? Maybe an aftermarket kit where you can get the same weight and feel of the gun you use?
The sig mosquitos feel great but the trigger leaves alot to be desired in the one I handled , plus its ammo picky

ISSC M-22 Reviews are mixed, not unlike the Mosquito and P22. There's also 1911-style .22 pistols.

I've been looking at some of the conversion kits.....anyone had any experience with them? There is a Tactical Solutions conversion for the Glock 19 and Sig Sauer makes one for both the P226 and the P229.

Ruger Mk2 is my vote while it does not have the controls like most modern handguns, it is accurate, will feed just about anything, and is a pleasure to shoot. I have been thinking about getting one of the above mentioned 22s but then saw that ruger makes a factory MK3 with ruger flash hider & sights- that's what I am looking for now.

I think I am going to go with 2. I want a 1911 .22, but I also want the Ruger SR-22 because it is more like the tactical pistols I have. I already have a Ruger Mark III Hunter but it is not made for draw and shoot or for movement shooting really.

So out of the 1911 .22's, what have you guys seen and liked? I know the GSG is the one who makes the Sig 1911-22 so both of those are the same. But what else?

I got the beretta neos for my wife, its fun and shoots all the bulk federal ammo I've got left. I had planned on buying the carbine kit for it eventually.

I have the Sig and agree it's a little picky about ammo, but nothing I couldn't live with.

I shoot a S&S 422. Aluminum frame and 4" barrel, plenty accurate enough for plinking at paper. Cycles very quickly and is easy to keep on target with a 12 round mag that can be emptied in less than 6 seconds into a 6" diameter circle from 7 yards. And they're cheap to buy...
So she says "sure Honey, I agree, you DO need a new deer rifle..." And that, boys, is how I ended up with new living room furniture!

Walther P22 or the PMR-30
My P-22 shoots almost every type of .22lr I have put through it, I really liked the weight and balance of my Sig Mosquito but it was so finicky with ammunition that it was not worth it for any reason.
My PMR I love its super accurate and with 30rds its perfect for survival or defense as the .22 wmr packs enough of a punch
