Anyone have a good hunting load they would share for 270win. 130 grain psp. I shoot t/c pro hunter and have great luck with Remington Core-Lokt so trying to stay close to that. Thanks.

4831 or 4350 will be a good place to start...

Last load I worked up for a 270 used Sierra PSP 130 gr and IMR 4350 powder, worked well. If I were to be loading it now I would have to try H4350 or H4831.

Go with H4831. With 130s start at 57 grains and work up in 0.5 grain increments until you find that sweet spot. Somewhere close to 60 grains will be a max load.

I've used 59.7 grns of H4831 SC under 130 grn bullets in my Model 700 .270 for years.
I cannot think of a better load/bullet weight for .270 on the planet.
I'd start at 57 like said above. When you find a sweet spot with a .270 you'll know.....

Me too with the H4831sc. I use 59 grains behind the 130gr Nosler BT. Great load.

If I was starting fresh looking for a cup and core texas hunting load for a 270 win I would get some 130 grain Sierra Pro Hunters and some H-4350.
It's hell eatin em live

I am shooting some old style "Red Box" flat base Nosler 130 gr SP's over 59gr's of H4831 SC, WW brass & WLR primers that give me 3 rounds at 100 yards that will hide under a dime, out of a Tikka T3 SS/syn Lite that is totally untuned. I bought the boolitz mebbe 5 years ago from the Nosler SPS as blems for $14 a hunnert...just wish like heck I'd bought more than the 300 I did as I am close to getting into the last hunnert but I've never seen them for sale since that one offering. They whack WTails fearsome too. As ALWAYS work up to that MAXIMUM LOAD!. Cheers Ron
