went by dicks sporting goods at firewheel in garland and found corn at $5.98 per 40# bag.(.15 per pound.)

Corn is comming back down a little. Next week it will be $8.50 a 50 lb bag at the feed store in Carthage.

I would think corn prices ought to start easing down a little, given what has happened to corn futures on the CBOT.

Jefferson,Tx feed store $10.55 for 50 pounders.
At Brookshires they are $10.65!!!
Screw the corn,,, I bought a half dozen ribeyes and a sack of taters.

You E tx guys need an acorn feeder anyway. I hunted Jefferson growing up, no corn ,no feeders. We killed two or three nice ones a long time ago.

$9.00 a 50lb in the panhandle. Protein was $11.90

Corn dropped to 4.97/bushel today, hopefully thats going to translate into lower feed corn prices.

I hunt a creek bottom in Wood County and the deer didn't touch my corn all last season. I even kept cutting down on my throwing time to hopefully get rid of the growing corn pile on the ground. Not even a hog nibbled on it. Brother in-law is right....I shoulda been throwning acorns outta my feeder......
