For an off the wall topic which do you think are the prettiest? Which ones look better mounted?
I favor divers. From mergansers to redheads with divers having such colorful eyes they stand out.

Honestly, I have yet to see a duck that I didn't think was pretty. If I had the room and the money and the wife was more understanding I'd just have a pair of everything eventually

Puddlers are my favorite. I get tired of shooting the reds and bluebells we have on the coast.

Although with experience I have figured them out, I did't care to know the difference between the two. I give them both the same medicine! I think they all look purty when folding like a cheap hotel towel!

IF I had the money, I would have one of each species........ however, I have a Pintail, GWT on the wall and a Can in the freezer. I think a nice purple headed Gadwall would be nice or a Redhead
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

Common merganser drakes look sweet... I can appreciate just about any of the waterfowl.

It flies, it dies. I have to say I favor the pintail though. But I don't pass up shooting into a huge group of divers either.
I have about half and half of divers/puddles mounted.

I like the wood duck because of all the colors but I still am a fan of puddler ducks! Especially a bull sprig or a real nice widgeon drake!
You may all go to hell and I will go to Texas! -Davy Crocket This is duck hunting...shirts and shoes are optional
