Ricky Hunt with the Bowhunt Ranch in Dekalb, TX has some great Fallow Deer at the best prices I've seen! $1500 for the fallow and $1350 for the Golden Sika. We flew in to Dallas from GA, drove 3 hours northeast to Dekalb, TX to hunt with him. He's a great guy too. The deer processor in Detroit, TX is 30 miles away and is great too!
We took all Gold Medal Animals:
My Brother got a nice 104 7/8" Chocolate
I got a 98/3/4" White Fallow and a HUGE Golden Sika that had the body of a Red Stag. All of these animals were taken with a bow. It was a ton of fun and we just received 147 lbs of great Fallow and Sika Deer meat!

The only Golden Sika I have ever seen came thru the YO sale back in the mid 90's. I think a guy from Indiana raised them and brought some to the sale. They were huge bodied and had a gold color to them.

I don't think the sika on Rickey's place are true golden sika. May have just been colored a tad different.

No, this is not me or my Sika. I figured out how to post photos thanks to a few board members. 3 animals taken photos below. Autalon no trying to take over your thread but is this you and your sika? I'm good friends with Rickey and saw this pic.
