I do believe so. Black is the most dominant of the three colors I think.

Ok we'll I'm just curious cuz I tried with the other chocolate and thought it took but my dog got out several times and and there's a couple running around here that I def didn't want to breed her.

The chocolate male is not the sire, sorry.
Choc x Choc breeding can only produce chocolates and yellows, never blacks.
