Getting closer to that time of the year to stick some fish. What do y'all use? I currently shoot a browning barracuda with an AMS and an old all metal recurve with a drum reel. Anyone have any set ups they look to sell? I want to buy a few more good rigs for this year.

Not selling any, but I Have a browning baracuda as well, it is the third one as the first two broke, one had a limb break and the other the piece that holds the bottom limb in broke. Both while shooting at fish. I would recomend against them as me and mine have had several similar instances with them, I have two cousins that have had the same happen as well.

My other set up is an old Bear 65 lb draw compound, its big heavy and alot more power than needed and has an AMS reel on it. It has easily outlasted the baracudas tho.

Bought the PSE Kingfisher Bow fishing kit. Works great. Put a Zebco 808 on it. BAM!

The 808 will work, but the AMS is a vast improvement.

Not to hack the thread but do yall think a 2005 parker would work? I recently got a bowtech assassin and now have no use for the parker.

I have a PSE barracuda with ams. I have shot it about 8 times. Once I got it I never went back. I have no idea what its worth now but I might think about parting with it. I know it wasn't exactly cheap new

Let me know what you would want for it and your location please. I need a few more for my wife and friends for this spring. Anyone know of any places to launch a full sized bass boat in the trinity anywhere between Trinidad and Palestine?

Im sure it would work fine. I dont know what poundage it is set at, but usualy 50 or so is good and that a way it makes it easier to draw fast and often.

Bakers landing is right off of 287 out of Cayuga. Not trying to get in your business but is your bass boat metal or fiberglass? I went and ran the Trinity this week and it is low, I would never run a fiberglass boat in the river but that's just me. I had to go tow a buddy back the other day, he hit a stump 2-3 miles up river and tore his his prop off. There is some good gator gar fishing but it can be dangerous if you don't know the river.

Trinity is a death trap for fiberglass....if your gona be up that way id hit lake fairfield.... lots of shooting if you hit it right....when the trinity is low it pretty tuff mainly will just be shooting quick cuz there all in the deep water...hard to get in the creeks.

I have a 19.5' alumacraft. It is aluminum and I usually out around in it slow if in in unfamiliar waters. I'm gun shy about running fast in rivers even lakes for that matter. I'm used to shallow and dangerous obstacles being present in places I fish like lake mexia and the navasota river.

I shoot a PSE Fireflite 33 with an AMS Retriever PRO. It was bow I got into bow hunting with. Works very well for me, extremely reliable, and I can shoot 50 lbs all night with it.

However, I also cheat and use the OMP Light stryke green laser...

Pse makes some awesome bow fishing rigs for $380 and a lifetime warranty. And pse also knows the abuse these bows are going to go through as well. Bows are instock!
