Usually takes a few days to soak in for me. This will be my first year doing the conservation season, so that's gonna be a nice distraction. I'm sure the first pintail that floats into the goose spread will remind me that its reaaaally over.

Dude I hear ya! Im captin of the same kibda crew. They only wanna go when i tell em we will limit in 30 minutes or less, then dont do squat other than flare em with there "calling" (imagine a duck being raped) or bitc/ bc they ain't flying or they cant hit em bc they aint landing in there lap

I enjoy the season like no other between Elk, Ducks, Deer, varmits and exotics but the day after the season ends I take a deep breath and catch up on the honey dews and take full advantage of time with the family. The are gracious enough to let me persue my passion so I spend the offseason focused on them and MAN IS IT FUN!!!

It's depressing but my wife will be happy I can stay awake past 9pm on the weekends and my gas bill will go down dramatically.
The boat and the truck need to be cleaned for sure.

It's bittersweet and I'm tired.

Drove to Murfreesboro, Ar to pick up a buddy's new 1850 Gator Trax Diamind City trailer, saw lots of ducks and geese while in transit. Cane home and cleaned up the man cave, fixed 6-8 leaky decoys (BB holes) and cleaned all my Camo.

Last day I got to hunt was saturday and it was rainy and foggy. No ducks flying but managed 3 geese. We could have hunted the next day but I am focused on spending time with my grandma before her knee surgery tomorrow(PRAYERS NEEDED)!! If we would have shot ducks on saturday I would have been happy but it was miserable out there!

Truth be told I'm not. When I found out the schedule for work, I had a few days of crying like a kiddo who just got told all he was getting for Christmas were socks. After coming to grips that I would not have a duck season, I wrote the season off.

Am I disappointed? yes.

All I can do at this point is look forward to next September.

I don't know what to do first my poor truck and boat will never be the same I haven't seen the floor in the rear of my truck for about a month frankly I'm scared to see what is living down there

My dog has PSD (post season depression)

Heck yea i am depressed... had a epic first season... with a wild and twisted ending..... getting my dog ready for next season starting this weekend.... just cant wait....

The only positive thing I can say is that at least I managed to stay away from sickness during the season.....can't say that now, darn sinus's are killing me

Life just isn't as good without duck hunting.

Usually I miss a hunt somewhere from being a little sick, but I was able to power all the way through this season.

I was, then I went pheasant hunting.
A goose hunt this weekend should keep the blues away.

I'm hoping my goose hunt tomorrow - Saturday helps my depression out.. I have cleaned as cleaned and organized everything
