Here are some recent game cam pics. I saw approx. a flock of 50 this morning and 20 Toms/Jakes at 4:30PM today. Decided to give both a pass, let em grow a little more...
They are coming to feeders and corned roads like clockwork..

Nice. Looks like you have a good number of young birds, including that bearded hen. Looks like it will be a bad year for two year olds because of the drought. There should be a ton of jakes though. Good for future hunting.

Thanks LA, I missed that bearded hen in the 2nd pic right up front, pretty long, maybe 6-7". Is that common for bearded hens?

Guys, I'm casually giving some consideration to selectively dayleasing this spring. If so, what kind of $$$ could I expect on a weekend hunt and how much interest may be out there? My place is on the smaller side, 70 acres in Young county but covered up in turkey last year and this year. Thanks for the input...

Sir I would be interested . I live in Houston . I'm not sure how much a weekend hunt would be . I just moved here from Mississippi wear I hunted Eastern long berds . They are very challenging to hunt . It's not every time that you that you get to make the kill . If you would like to send me a private message and we can work something out .

Rattler, I am SW of Graham off FM 209, near Murray. Covered up in birds this fall hunting season. Was seeing between 40-60 birds daily...
