I hunted about 20 miles north of Sterling in Mitchell Co. a couple of years ago. Those bucks down there seem to stay busted up. Great pic and welcome by the way. smile

I love hunting in the snow. Your stand in the background looks to be a little chilly for that morning hunt.
But I would have been braving the elements!!!

That stand is for my buddy who bow hunts. Too cold for me...I prefer the box blind with the little buddy heater on the 20 degree mornings!

He was definitely a fighter. Had a few busted up this year. One looked like he went to the mat with Andre the giant. Rack was busted and his entire body was tore up. Crazy what the ladies make them do!

neat picture. I have heard several times Sterling City is one of the best places to Hunt in Texas. Any truth to that?

Hnting in the snow is the coolest experience ever for here in Texas. Remember the snow storm during Xmas 2010, we went and had a blast as well. banana
