Haha. i spent saturday morning in a stand with a dog thats been eating raw deer scraps and two kids that love chili. After about 2 hrs of enduring the assault on my olfactory system from these three we finally saw 3 bucks come out between 15 and 40 yards from the stand. The deer didn't even care. I couldn't wait to get out of there. cry

Hilarious. And that's why Grandpa always carried a knife.

I'm with HWY_MAN. One of my hunting buddies wears carbon cammo and sprays a half gallon of 'scent killer' on himself and then takes bacon and egg tacos to his stand. Go figure.

I think as long as you hunt on private property it is OK. If you hunt public however you should hold it in. Otherwise you might be accused of being an irresponsible hunter, leaving your gas in the public woods. This would be a danger to your fellow hunters as well as your family. You should not fart and drive either as this is no different than farting on a public WMA.

Never seemed to bother the deer when it happens to me, but they usually run when I start gagging & coughing and open the door to get out! bolt

If we let it die, will we see it again in a couple of weeks?
This is only 3 pages, the HF/LF is 20 pages - this time!
