so, did Bass Pro give him a discount on the bow? Hmmm if that story is true, I would be willing to bet after the lawsuit he got a heck of a lot more than a discount.

Had an Oops in the shop on Tuesday. Broke my ring ringer on my left hand and split the meat open from the base of the nail back to the knuckle. I thought it looked pretty bad until looking at these pics. It looks pretty good now.

every time i click this thread my stomach does a summer-sault. I put these pictures on my phone and sent them to all my bowhunting friends as well. I'm sure we're all having the same nightmares. Between this and the guy cutting his finger off with the crossbow, It makes me want to sell my archery stuff and shy away from bow hunting all together.

Something similar happened to me last summer. I was practicing and had an old arrow shatter. Lesson learned: always flex-test your carbon arrows.

In my case, I was lucky and had no serious damage. I was shooting my bow again a week later. I learned my lesson though about old carbon arrows. I switched to Easton FMJs afterwards.
