I just started shooting 2 3/4 steel 6s and am azed at how DEAD it kills birds.
Started calling them my swarm of angry gnats.
Those shells are he'll on a turkey !

I was a #3 guy til I shot some with #6s a couple yrs back. I switched to 4s. Wish i could find 5s!

6 in heavyshot is like shooting 4 in steel. Very dense. It worked out great this morning. Shot a very high greenhead, 2 pintails, a redhead drake, and 2 widgeon drakes.
Tomorrow i will try some leftover bismuth nr 6 with my old side by side

It worked today, as all birds were beyond 50 yards.
I never shoot 3 1/2 inch loads except for geese. Just wanted to try em out, and see what the hype was all about.
I wished the 2 3/4 heavyshots were much cheaper...
