Looks like tomorrow is going to be a no to little wind day around here. I have an old trolling motor that I was thinking about taking out and putting in the water to keep the decoys moving. Has any one tried something like this? Or does that sound like a really bad idea?

Sounds like a lil work but it should work, I wouldn't submerge the top of the tm, maybe strap it to a tree or mojo pole

I've been hunting with 6 decoys. I put my ancor out about 25 yards and run a trot line cord through it tied off to a bungee on a tree to my left about 20 feet. I tie 3 decoys before it runs through the eye of the ancor and 3 more after. When I pull my end of the cord, 3 decoys swim toward the ancor and three swim away. Seems to get the job done. You need the longest bungee you can find though.
