We extended our deer season this year and hunted in Alabama this past weekend. My oldest son Michael killed his first buck. The rut was supposed to be in full swing there, it wasn’t quite on yet, there were definitely signs though. We put in some serious hours in the stand and he was able to kill a 7 pt. Both my boys got there first bucks this year.

I gotta tell you. I was having a hard time controlling my breathing when this buck stepped out and I wasnt the shooter. The thrill I get from being with my kids when they kill tops any kill I have ever had. Nothing in the world like it.....

Great looking deer and hunters. The only thing better than being with your kids getting a deer, is being with your Grandkids getting their first deer, and every deer after that. Good luck in your future hunts.
