So I am temporarily living up here in Belton(working in Temple) for a project at work. What should I go see/do/eat while I am here?

the little mexican place there on 6th street in belton, Greens Sausage House (16483 Texas 53Temple, TX 76501‎ (254) 985-2331greenssausagehouse.com) east on 53 in zabicaville (sp) Hole in the wall on left heading towards zabicaville. Menos in Killeen off stan schleuter.
Greens is great for kolaches as well, its also a meat market
Oh, and the rib place down off main in belton.
Temple, theres a great burger place in temple, down from S&W that I recommend. Crows 2302 South 57th StreetTemple, TX 76504 (254) 773-9650

Have you done anything fun or eaten anywhere good since you have been down there ? The little mexico restaurant in temple is pretty good. 2 places I have learned to stay away from are Clem Mikeskas bbq and even though it was recommended here, crows in temple. I do however like fat boys bbq Other than that, I haven't had time to go do anything fun. I work 72 hours a week so it is kind of get home go to bed. We did go to the trail of lights out on the lake. The miss lady really enjoyed that.

Try the Old Jody's 1219 S 1st St Temple, TX 76504 It is the old Jody's, not the new one. They are next to each other. Go in the older looking building.
TB refered to a Rib place in Belton. That would be Miller's Smokehouse. They have ribs on Fridays. Best ribs you will ever eat. Promise. 208 N Penelope St Belton
If you are off of 57th then run over to Joe's in the HEB parking lot for Italian food. Good lunch specials.
Try Nami also. They have a location downtown Temple and another in Belton right at the 190/35 interchange. Best Japanese food ever.
While you are here, slip in to Weber's off of 57th street to look at overpriced guns. Great shop and very knowledable but a little on the expensive side.
BTW, I wouldnt eat at Schoepf's if it were free.

I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

Now that u have plenty of places to eat you should go to lake belton and just relax. They have some great parks etc. drive up to Waco and check out Texas Ranger museum.

Go to Jody's Cafe in Temple.
Eat the Chicken Fried Steak or anything else on the menu. Make sure you get a salad with whatever you order, they have a homemade salad dressing that you will inject if you happen to have a hypodermic syringe with you.
You will thank me.
