I've got a lot of ammo I want to sell. Even commodity hunting caliber loads are almost nonexistant. But I don't want to be an a-hole on prices. What's the fairest way to research prices? AmmoSeek? Big Box Store prices? EDIT: Are GB prices a fair market valuation?

Thanks.

I have the same problem too.
I tried to price them for what it would cause me to replace them at 12 months down the road prices.
But then you see bulk selling for $50 a box within hours of posting.

Here is a record bulk 22lr price I have seen on GB - $1K+ for a case of Fed 525. This is not price gouging but someone willing to pay whatever it takes to buy some 22lr for whatever reason.

Interesting, but noticed the buyer was first time buyer. Maybe he just got caught up in the moment, maybe he was a shill. Hard to imagine $100+ for a box of 525 Federal .22's.

Hard to say, someone is always gonna tell you your too hi until you give it to them, then they are gonna turn around and sell it for whatever someone will pay and call it capitalism.

Yeah, probably so. Guess I'm gonna find a happy medium and list it here. Gonna have a lot of 7.62X39 and .30/06 and some .22 LR, 9MM, .45ACP, .223 and .30 Carbine.

How to value ammo in the current market? Decide on the value of your first born and multiply that times 3.

That guy must of thought he was buying a lot more than what he actually bid on.But being his first bid I bet he learned a lesson.

Bulkammo has the same ammo for $38.25 a box X 10 = 382.50 but they are temporarily out of stock so that could make a difference.

I know it keeps going up. I checked the price of a case (500) of 357 magnum on Double Tap Ammo's website yesterday and it was $410, but today it is $450. I think components are going up and manufacturers are passing it to us (consumers). It is difficult pricing it right thinking it may be a lot more next month.

I go to Bone Daddy's for the burgers....yeah, that's why.

Do you normaly buy a case of 357? If not your the reason prices are going up.
