A few downed with my 6.8, its a horrible round and if you have any 6.8 ammo send it to me and I'll dispose of it, LOL. I don't have pics of everything I've taken with it but these are a few, I've had the rifle for around a year or so and its great, I love the 6.8 and recommend it if you haven't tried it. Anyway, thought I would share a few pics, some I've had on here before. I just got back into hunting about 2 years ago after about 8 years out of it, I've been lucky with all that I've been able to take, hopefully it'll last from now on smile

Nicely done. I'm a 6.8 fan myself. Excellent hog round in an AR platform.

What more-common cartridge is the 6.8 similar to, ballistically?

The first buck was in Parker County opening weekend, I still haven't had him scored but the biologist at the processor guessed around 142", its the biggest I've ever shot so far smile

Bad info. MUCH better ballistics than a .30-30.

Most 6.8SPC rounds run out muzzle velocity at 2600-2800 pushing a 110gr to 120gr bullet. I'd say it's close to but not as fast as a .257 Roberts.

Nice work!

I have a 6.8 in an AR I really like a lot. Not a long range gun, but great for most areas of Texas.

Kind of an all around caliber for me also. Hogs, deer, coyotes, etc.
