Went out to reload my year round feeder this afternoon and found that a bull had knocked it over and the cover popped off the controller/battery compartment. If that weren't enough, the calves chewed on all the wires just to add insult to injury. Thought I had it pretty well tied down but a 1500 pound Angus bull is a strong critter.

Yes they are. We have horses and donkeys. That is why my feeder is not in the same pastures that they are in. A horse can tear up a feeder too.

Look into a winch feeder, I tell folks that they are for folks that have problems with wild hogs and mad cows. Good luck

We got tired of cow problems so we built feed pens. Life is good now.

+1-also had to build pens this year. Fortunately-bull next door met his maker before he put them to the test smile
