Made a stand in Mills county this evening. Two greys in 10 minutes. First fox at 30 yards and the second at 180 yards. All with that evil assault rifle that nobody needs to hunt...

That is awesome. I love my AR for pigs. I am going to have to take it out calling now.
That big one would be nice mounted

That is awesome. I love my AR for pigs. I am going to have to take it out calling now.
That big one would be nice mounted I guess its just the camera angle. They are both the same size. The one has a deformed tail though so no mounting it.

Need has nothing to do with it does it? Makes you want to ask those same people if they "need" a Mercedes. "Can't you get around in a yugo, or a Ford Fiesta." I wonder what the NY gov. drives?

nicely done but what's up with the bottom one, mange? Nope, all were very healthy. Just a little ruffled up from moving it around I guess. And a .223 to the throat didnt help it either.

We use 3-12x56mm scopes out here with illuminated reticles for low light hunting. The larger the objective lens, the more light transmission. I stick with Zeiss and Nikon although I really would love to get a trijcon accupoint if the damn retailers weren't so afraid of export restriction guidelines.
Over here we don't get to be spoiled with the night vision scopes that are available in the states, even though we do all of our pig hunting at night. If you use NVGs or Night scopes here, the Polizei will probably find out and will confiscate ALL of your guns with no due process or chance at getting them back.
How's that for gun control?? God, I miss Texas!

That's a big d*mn scope! Nice shots. Its just a 4" sunshade on a leupold rifleman 4-12x40
