The choke tube in my binelli nova pump got stuck in the barrell last night. With the help of my friend we managed to get it all the way to the last thread, and now jt acts as if its free spinning on that last thread. Im worried im gonna tear up the barrell. Has this ever happened to anyone? And if so how did you go about gettin it out?

Sounds like it took some threads with it and/or the threads are all gimped up. I believe you are going to need a gunsmith (or maybe even a new barrel and choke depending).
If you think a professional is expensive you should see the cost of an amateur.
Good luck!

Good luck! I agree, cross-threading those fine threads will leave you in a world of hurt

Yea no kidden. I do like that last statement by turkey hunter tho. Well a couple of my huntin buddies are gun smiths at b&s guns in garland. I probably should have done that when i realized it was taking two people to muscle the choke out. Live and learn i guess

good luck with it I keep my chokes lubed. I oiled the choke Tuesday before heading out for a duck hunt What sized choke and what ammo specifically? Cross threading a choke is a bit unusual if you put it in by hand and then use the tool to snug it down. I'm wondering if something didn't bulge the end since you mention duck hunting. Sorry that happened.

I had mine get stuck like chuck once on one of my guns. I couldn't even move it a revolution. I tried all sorts of stuff to remove it, including heat. All that did was ruin the camo job.
Turns out the best thing was to send it in to the manufacturer. All it cost me was $25 and that included them sending it back to me with a new choke tube installed.

not trying to be smart, but oil isn't sufficient for tubes. choke tube lube is like anti-seize lubricant. it helps prevents what happened to you. very heat and grime resistant.
maybe what t.h. said, maybe something bulged the barrel?

After reading this thread, I think I'll but some fresh grease on the choke tube in my Winchester just for the heck of it.
Should choke tubes be installed thumb tight only, I should you get them tigher with the tube wrench?

I was taught to thumb tighten only, To date have not had one come loose but I do not shoot a shotgun that much these days. Several years ago I took a ziplock bag and went to local smith and had him give me a pea size lump of choke grease, still using it. Think I paid him a buck.
