Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Anyone ever bought chicks before? I have 70 acres and had native quail before, but havent seen them in a few years. I was thinking about letting some go...

How long do I have to keep them in a pin before letting them free? Will they stick around or haul arse? I have water and decent habitat...i figure they will stay.

Thoughts? Experience?
