No such thing.

They all develop leaks to one degree or another. And if you go the neoprene route, your hands will sweat while putting out decoys and you will soon enough get cold.

I always bring two pairs of gloves. One for throwing out decoys and then SealSkinz for shooting.

Buy those throwaway hand warmers that come in a pack. Stuff one in each pocket and that works when it gets really cold.

Cabelas rag wool fingerless gloves down to about 20 degrees.

wool glommits or full finger wool gloves below that.

Wool insulates when wet. They are so cheap and light you can carry two pair.

Thought for the day: Ducks were almost hunted to extinction long before camo was invented.

Insulated Atlas gloves with underarmor liners if it's really cold. They are cheap $15-$17 a pair. Every fisherman and guide I've seen while hunting up North wears them.

I wear gloves for driving the boat, and sometimes decoys. Can't call or shoot right with them on.

You'd be a rich man if you could make a thin waterproof glove with grip. Oh yeah and warm.

I use the cheap jersey type that are camo and have grips on them. Bring a couple pairs. Like others have said, when they get wet, you get cold. Break out a dry pair. I also have a heavy pair that I use until it is LST.

Those look like they would be great for driving the boat or ATV or messing with decoys. I don't think I could use them while hunting though.

I have shot with them on when it's bitter cold, but I'll usually take the glove off my trigger hand once the shooting starts.

Same here, jeresey gloves on the way out and for setting up. The pullout the Gates Gloves when I settle down in the blind.

I have tried on a lot but have never found any that thumb didnt get caught up in the carrier when reloading

I think I read about the Gates Gloves in a post by one of the Mods a longtime ago. Couldn't find them anywhere. One night I was at Wal Mart on unrelated matter and there they were in camo. And they were cheap. Haven't been able to find another pair in a retail store since.

Ditto- no such thing. I have some cabellas goretex- warm bulky. I use hand Warmers and thin glove liners typically.

Got some black waterproof underarmours that need some color adjustment. Nut light and waterproof

Goose down mittens w/disposable hand warmers...it's the only way I can keep my tiller hand warm for that looooong boat ride! When I'm ready to hunt I put the warmers in my waders and shoot bare handed. Gettin' old makes it hard to stay warm!

The best thing to do is use gloves while driving the boat and setting decoys. While hunting/shooting just put disposable hand warmers in each pocket of your jacket/waders and put your bare hands in them until you shoot, works better than any gloves I have found, I just can not operate my gun and calls with gloves unless the fingers are cut off the gloves.

Agree with bringing two pair - and keeping the extra in a zip lock bag. A couple of weeks ago, my extras got wet and then they froze. They were then useless.

I agree that the perfect pair doesn't exist. I have tried and what I have come up with is while driving the boat/ranger a good heavy pair like the Columbia Huricon Marsh gloves and while hunting a pair if liner gloves or wool that you just have to assume is going to get wet.

I think the perfect glove would be a liner glove with a thin waterproof liner inside it. I haven't found that glove yet though.

Good luck.

X2, but do agree that the perfect glove is like a unicorn, often talked about but never seen.
