Duties & Responsibilities of
the Office of the Attorney General
Attorney General Greg Abbott is the lawyer for the State of Texas and is charged by the Texas Constitution to:
defend the laws and the Constitution of the State of Texas
represent the State in litigation
approve public bond issues
This was straight from Texas State agency web site. So if i got a guy going at bat for me, thats probably the guy for the job. Thank God. All we can do now is pray and wait. Other wise which ammendment is next ?!?!

No doubt he is doing the constituents business here. I have a single issue with him on how he won a personal injury lawsuit and then went anti on the frivolous, but he still is in my short list of good representatives for the good guys.
