In HOCKLEY county. It is not uncommon to see mulies around but we spotted this whitetail doe(on the left) with 5 mulie does. They were in a caliche pit about 200 yrds from my house.

She is big. You've got a great eye to catch her. Next few years I bet you start to see lot's more WT. Seasons longer than MD. Best of both worlds.

I wish but there is no whitetail season in Hockley county and only a 9 day mule deer season.

My wife and I saw the same thing in Hale County two days ago. Two MD does, one MD yearling, and one WT doe all together in a lake bottom. We were amazed...

To me she looked 100% whitetail. I know she is big but she didn't have mulie ears or tail. I saw them trot off later and she didn't run and bound like the mulies either.

I'm not to far from the Hale county, I'm in the Northeast portion of Hockley county, just a stones through away from Lubbock county line.

That's cool. I seen a good whitetail buck in NW Hockley Co three years ago. Talk about confused! I was hunting mulies and he showed up. I kept trying to make him a Mulie, but there was no doubt. There is suppose to be a guy over there that has a WT doe as a pet. She disappears every rut, then goes back home. Maybe they will continue to populate. The mulies have been "hit & miss" the past couple years.

Great eye. I agree that she looks 100% whitetail. Her ears aren't big, no white in the face, coloring is all whitetail, but DAMN, she is a big ol' gal.

Your eyesight starts getting weaker but your ability to
see through people's BS gets much better.
