I am sure that this topic has been discused on the forum but I could not find any post on the subject. I would appricate your input and comments on different makes of firearms. Thanks in advance for your input.

Answer: something you're comfortable with that performs well and is easily concealable under your normal attire.

The ideal concealed carry gun is small and light enough to carry continually, of sufficient caliber, accurate, and reliable as a stone. I think everyone would pretty much agree with that.

Getting everyone to agree on what handgun fills the bill is impossible. It's entirely subjective.

For me, it's the Kahr PM9 or CM9. I'm new, and just tested 10 9mm guns. I shot best with the PM9, the didn't have a CM9.

Well that is a highly debated topic. It really depends on your build, how you plan on carrying, and a dozen other things. I just picked up a Kimber CDP Pro II that will be my primary carry weapon when I find the right holster. Personally I would stay away from a 9mm. Go with a .40 or .45. Do some research and you will figure out why police and military no longer use the 9mm.

THis pistol fits RedRiver's criteria. It fits my lawyers criteria for the most defensble CCH handgun in court. It fits my personal carry comfort.



If ya don't have one, get one. Ya will carry it. That fact could be the most important.

Can't say it's the best but works for me...Springfield XDS-45 carried in a Winthrop IWB holster. Very comfortable and easy to get to if needed.
