I will be there all 3 days(I think). I have never been to one of these events so I do not know what to expect. Has anyone ever been or going this year? I am really excited about it.
I avoid Dick's and hope they fold.

8/15, 16, and 17. I will be there at least one day. I enjoy listening to the speakers more then anything else at the show.

It is an interesting event to attend.
I stopped going a couple of years back, simply because it is just so crowded in the buildings that you either miss seeing stuff or spend more time trying to just get from one end of the building to the other that after a couple of hours of the jostling and shoving, your wore flat out.
For those of the proper mind set, there is a lot of "Eye Candy" to look at, and I don't mean just the hunting equipment either.

So are there just a bunch of booths from manufacturers or is there more to it than that? I cannot imagine going to a trade show for 3 days.

I will be there friday! I need another HCR feeder to go on the new feeder I built!
I NEVER go on the weekend!!!! There are waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many people to make it enjoyable!
My favorite part is the siminars! Ralph and Viki did a great siminar last year!

I'll be there all day, all three days. For those of you that hate the crowds and can make it, the show opens at 3:00 (I think) on Friday. It's much less crowded that day. Plus, if you're a ttha member, you'll get in free on Friday.

Well after all, it looks like I will only be there on Saturday (maybe Friday if I can make it there in time). I am pumped up about going. I will probably spend more money than I have!!!

I might try and make it. I am heading to Dallas today for a two week job running a trackhoe. The job is on a deadline but if we get ahaed I will try and make it. I was thinking of renting a booth next year.

I love the snake pit. People just get mezmarized by those rattlers. Makes for great practical jokes. One year we were there and couldn't get close to the fence, I said real loud, hey look there's a hole in the fence. Problem solved, everyone moved!
