Great idea!!

Deer sized commercial coolers are going for thousands on Craigslist. That does the job just as well.

Thanks!

Good info...

I was thinking of building one on a slab with a hose bib and cleaning drain, but I'm guessing your whole unit can be fork-lifted or winched up on a trailer and moved to a new lease. I like that idea, but might consider 4x4 or larger skids if I go that route.

Also, I have a 28' refer trailer I currently use just for storage. I assume I could block off the front 10' or so (has an access door up front already) and use your cool-bot method. I had not done anything yet cuz I was thinking I'd need a whole new Refer cooling unit to go that route.

Thanks for the input...

Great idea. That thing would hold several animals and a 6 pack of long necks.

very nice. Were hoping to build one this year in the corner of a metal storage container. Hopefully it turns out as well as yours.

Coolbot's are great. We have 2 of them.

http://www.storeitcold.com/

You can find cooler panels, or inexpensive walk-in coolers if you hunt for them. You just put the cooler together, cut a hole in the side for the A/C unit, and install the Coolbot. The website gives you lots of information about which brand of A/C unit to use, and what size cooler they will cool down. They talk of insulating the floor for the cooler, but we have not.

Coolbot also has great customer service. We have had need to call them a few times, and they are very responsive.
