My buddy and I started working on this for my Tundra. We got the idea from a truck we saw in San Antonio. There's no doubt it's insanely redneck, but I wouldn't have it any other way. There will be four strands of chain total per side and it still needs the brake lights. What do you think?

It will be sand blasted and powder coated. We stretched the links with ratchet straps and tacked them.

Wanna make it look real redneck you'll make a full size rack with the bed rails and make the rails chains too... just a thought

That's what the truck had that inspired us. That's pushing the redneck envelope a little too much for my liking and welding chain sucks. it's darn near impossible to get decently straight.

Let me tell you from experience...grind those welds down good...nothing worse than grabbing a cooler or chair out of the back and catching you arm on a sharp booger to ruin your afternoon. (Or worse, your wife or kid does it).

The Tundra is an ugly truck. Might as well have ugly accessories.

Actually, it's not as bad as I thought it would be from the description. And I love Tundras, even if they are ugly.
