My brother is looking for either a Smith & Wesson M&P / CZ P07 Duty / Beretta PX4 Storm in .40. I've never shot any of them so wanted to get everyones opinion?
Thanks!

I've played with the M&P and liked it a lot and the CZ looks very appealing but have no experience with it as with the PX4 as well.

have only shot the m&p but really enjoyed it. pretty low recoil, changable back straps fit my hand much better and very accurate. I have heard good about the cz as well.

Loved my P07 in 9mm. Only reason I got rid of it a family member needed a pistol for the house. Still plan on getting another.

I can only speak to the M&P and say you wouldn't be disappointed with this gun.

I have a handful of CZ 75 variants. Didn't think twice letting it go.

m&P is a solid gun but I prefer the single action trigger/hammer on the PX4. The striker fire on the M&P will go bang every time but it is mushy with too much takeup.

I have the m&p and love it but my only complaint is the trigger. But I hear a apex does wonders.

I'll chime in on the M & P trigger as well. I have the M & P Pro Series and will admit the trigger on mine is far far nicer, than the one on our M & P non pro .40

I've got a PX4, type f (DA/SA) in 9mm and I like it just fine. I'd have gone for the 40 caliber, but my wife wanted a softer shooting pistol.

Hey - just picked up a Px4 compact in .40 - great firearm. It is the only "compact" that I've held that gives me a full hand grip.

If you decide to go with the Beretta - any Beretta - let me know. They are quality firearms and I can get you one at a fair price.

M&P all the way! I have a full size and two Shields and they are astounding. I have the Apex in my FS and I feel it's one if the top choices available. I don't he's have experience with the CZ, but I hate the PX4. Awful trigger and I don't care for the ergonomics.
