A friend and I would like to go on a big hog hunt near College Station....Any suggestions?

They are pretty common on rural acreage in Brazos and Grimes counties. The game warden might be able to steer you to a landowner who will permit hunting on his property.

I have not tried asking the GW about that. That sounds cool/good idea if there are some land owners willing to take the risk of having other people in their property. Let us know if that work.

We've hunted hogs near Caldwell. Most landowners want them gone, so you might be able to find one that will let you come out and do you best. Gig 'em!

Do you know any land owners I could talk to. I would really like to find a place to hunt hogs and varmints?

Somerville WMA should be covered up with them. I think its bow hunting only.
