I am not new to hunting,been hunting a long time.
I have property in leon county,have had it for 25 yrs.,and have enjoyed it.
I just retired Jan 1st,2013, and looking to spend much more time up there,as there is always something to do,or get done.
The hunting is like anywhere else,some years good and some not so good
My son,son-in-law, and grandson hunt,and always enjoy the out doors

FYI...things you should consider NOT bringing up...since a firestorm will erupt and the site will go down due to band-width consumption.
antler restrictions
high fence/low fence
is a savage a real rifle
should I shoot deer at 600 yards with a .223
.243 and an elk at 1000 yards
is an AR a real deer rifle
Just kidding man...great place to be...
Guys (and a few gals) around here have a ton of good info and are always willing to share opinions. Don't get your feathers ruffled if someone disagrees with ya...it just part of being on the playground.
For future reference, here are a few abbreviations you will see...
HF - high fence
LF - low fence
SPF - sold pending funds
AR - antler restriction (when not referring to the rifle style)
SSS - shoot, shove, shut-up
FTF - face to face
THF - Texas Hunting Forum
TFF - Texas Fishing Forum
WTS - want to sell
WTT - want to trade
WTTF - want to trade for
WTB - want to buy

Thanks 007,I have been looking at THF for 2 years,and finally joined,now that I have time to do what I want to,when I want to.
