Anyone know of any half decent shooting preserves in central Texas where a man can take his dog and get some pre-season dog work in without taking out a second mortgage on his house?

Wingshooter- Only one that comes to mind is: sahainc.com, located b/w Brownwood and Coleman in Santa Ana. Been by it, never used it. Have used Dave Jones at brittanygundogs.com near Cross Plains, but I don't think he's doing it this year. I think there's one near Corsicana. Jerry

There is one in Ennis as well but I cannot remember the name. It seems like it was Trinity outfitters or something close.

The Chicken Ranch in Frankston 903/876-3291, Anderton Ranch in Cooper 214/448-4018 are two more places. The Chicken Ranch is aimed at day hunts with no lodging whereas the Anderton Ranch is a full service along the lines of the WB in the Waco area.
