One thing I have learned about pigs over the years is that they don’t always bleed and it don’t matter what caliber or bullet you are shooting either. Yup! I shot a boar around 175-200 lbs yesterday out of my tripod. Shot behind the shoulder quartering away with 270 win and a stout loaded 150 grain Nosler partition. He fell at the shot poped right back up and took off. I saw him fall 2 more times wile he was running as he crosed a sendero and once in a clearing. I could see/hear him make it about 75-100 yards, but never found a drop of blood and didnt find the hog either.
