Well to start off the evening me and my grandpa get to our huntin spot and not 30 minutes later somebody shows up and is headed straight to the feeder we were hunting... He finally sees us and performs a u turn and on his way out he jumps a 10 point and a doe and pushes them off of our property... To end the evening were trying to call in some coyotes and we see a truck go by with someone in the bed with a spotlight shining on both sides of the road shooting anything they could find... It makes me angry

Should have shot a round off. He might have gotten the hint.

I couldn't disagree more. You don't ever, and I mean ever squeeze off a round at another human being unless your intent is to kill. He did the right thing.

My friend's wife was in a box blind by herself one time and a guy opened the door looked at her and just closed the door and walked off. I would have FREAKED if someoned opened up my box blind door. Couldn't imagine how a lady felt.

I'm with Standman, don't ever shoot at anyone unless your intent is to defend yourself via lethal force, otherwise be prepared to have return fire. shots at the feet/air are ill advised. Worst case scenario, a Grand Jury would be no fun.....

The right thing to do would have been to call either the Sheriff's Office or Game Warden and do it immediately.

No problem. My place is at the end of a mile long road and just before my gate is a 40 acre pasture with no fence. Poachers used to ride up in there until the night we blocked the only exit with a tractor and called the LO and the GW. Those booys had some explaining to do.

Not that you know of at least. Had the same feeling since our place is in the middle of no-where. But I saw some jeep/4-wheeler tracks that shouldnt have been there last time out. Put up two cameras about a month ago, now I just need to get back out there and check whats on camera.

If you know any cops or someone that works at an automotive dealership, have them run the plate for you. You can also have DMV run it, but they'll charge you $10.00. Then send they guy a letter stating that his name, address, and license plate number has been sent to the G.W. and Sheriff's office. Even if he didn't kill anything, I'd make him squirm a little.

actually we have plenty of oil workers out there so for all i know they are taking game. i have not caught any on any of the 4 cameras i have run. only thing i have caught is the occasional ranch hand on his horse passing by.

and this may be why there is no poaching as well since there is a lot of traffic out there.
