Had some trouble with Photobucket so I am just now getting to post up the pictures from last weekends hunt up in Oklahoma, we didn't get into many birds, but we had a great time. Saturday was the hardest day, we hunted a spot on the lease that we've never hunted before & we only found one single and Ace, the EP that I got from DoubleB20 pulled a muscle or something in in his left leg & could hardly walk, so I had to keep him put up the rest of the time we were there so he didn't hurt himself worse (he's pretty much back to normal now). On Sunday, we hunted about 4-5 hrs & found two coveys & my buddy Paul killed two birds (I wasn't shooting), on Monday it was raining but we waited it out a bit & decided to go let the pups & Daisy (momma) go for the last run, they found a covey (big one too) but the pups were running wide open & playing / rough housing with each other & busted the covey, oh well, we will be back this next Saturday to give it another go, sounds like some of the lease is better than others, another guy on the lease & a buddy of his hunted Friday & found I think 7 or 8 coveys and then they hunted another area Sunday & found ten Coveys. You can bet we will be hunting some of those areas next weekend. I didn't get any good point pictures, so you will have to be satisfied with the ones I got the dogs to pose for. I also think part of our bird finding problem was the dogs were a little rusty, it was their first time out.
