no sir, not as long as it fits in your chamber.
Now, I would add in addition to my PM that I find some that have such large bulges on them that I just go ahead and scrap them, but 95% or more of them will re-size just fine.

It looks to me that the sizing die isn't going down far enough. But you are sizing the most important part (the neck) to hold the bullet tight to shoot. I like to get further down on the case when sizing. Make sure your sizing die is adjusted all the way down and making firm contact with the shell holder.

Redding makes a GRx push thru die for .40S&W. The entire case is pushed thru the carbide die and the bulge is completely eliminated. It is an extra step in the reloading process, but many people won't reload .40 without it.

Good advice in the above two posts from Chad and rifle. My comments assumed that the die was set up correctly. Better double check it.

Yeah lee also has a bulge buster but I did not want to invest in those dies to to money constraints....aka " new born" lol she is worth it though.

Lee bulge buster is the way to go, I got one last year and it works well.

Use the bulge buster. You can get one for $13 at FSReloading.
