The tailgate Mulie is a nice pet to have.

We had a spike that always bedded down within 20 yards of one of our feeders. Every time we went out to fill, he'd watch us and we'd spin the spinner plate with a stick or hit the test button depending on how generous we were feeling.

We also had a buck fawn that was rescued by a neighbor and bottle raised. His name was Parker and he'd come up to you and eat corn out of your hand if you called him over (he had a collar). We found him dead on our place at 3.5 towards the end of the hunting season a number of years ago. Don't know what happened to him (he was a nice eight point at that time, so I wouldn't be surprised if a less caring neighboring hunter tried to kill him).
