Well after not seeing anything all weekend we decided to go ahead and take a 170 yard shot at some turkeys that had been frequenting our feeder. We both took a shot and at first I didn't think we got anything, but as we walked up on the feeder there was a hen laying there taking a dirt nap. We figure that my buddy, Nick, is the one who's shot connected. He's pictured below.   I hope to get back out there in March and snag me a nice gobbler.

Thanks, that was Nick's first turkey. Now he's hyped up and wants to get a bow and hit them hard in the spring, haha.
