Has anyone been out to the bitter lake refuge outside of Roswell for geese or duck hunting? Me and some buddies are thinking of heading that way later this week and was wondering if it is any good? Also, any hints on spots to setup on?
The road to success is always under construction.

I drive through there on the way to Ruidoso. Very dry this year to say the least. Looks like a skyblasters paradise.

Uhh this is the TEXAS hunting forum...
This is the first year i haven't hunted out there in about 8 years. My grandmother lives in Roswell. the refugee is loaded... On the side you can't hunt. skyblasters paradise sums it up good. The birds leave the refugee in the morning and people just try to pull hail marrys.
